Another example of contract furnishings work for Bar Cafè, Restaurants is the job that Lamberti Design did for Masaniello Art Café in Amalfi on “Largo Cesareo Console 7, Amalfi”. The metals that were chosen by the client for this Café are CorTen steel, stainless steel and brass. Corten steel was used for both the new entrance and façade, and the interior cladding and furnishings. Lamberti has customized not only the entrance, but also the dining area using the waterjet cutting technology. All furniture pieces after being produced were pre-installed at the Lamberti Design production site in Cava De’Tirreni for the oxidation process. Only after reaching the optimal CorTen maturation stages, were the furniture pieces then protected with a transparent resin to give each piece a more uniform and refined appearance. The entrance has an arched portal in CorTen steel with an engraved logo and boxes in micro-perforated metal sheets. The portal extends inwards like a large vault and covers the whole ceiling of the Café. The inner walls that support the vault are in CorTen steel. The kitchen wall, made in CorTen steel with a backlit logo cut out with CNC technology, also incorporates two sliding panels in stainless steel to quickly exchange dishes with the dining area. There is a central door in opal glass with a fan opening. You will notice in the restaurant scattered light points, the chandelier, and many shelves in CorTen steel. Going back to the entrance, the door and the fanlight made by Lamberti Design are in stratified and extra-clear tempered glass. Everything was produced following the concept designed by the customer and then carefully packed and transported with dedicated vehicles to the construction site where it was then installed in a week.
