Lamberti Design makes custom steel staircases and metal balusters for outdoor and indoor environments. For Bricofer headquarters in Rome, Lamberti Design produced and installed a self-supporting staircase in stainless steel with a satin finish, carbon steel painted with epoxy powders, and opal crystal for the treads. The steel staircase is anchored in just two points: at the landing point on the first floor and on the ground floor. The staircase stair stringer is in painted steel, the banister and the baluster are in stainless steel with a satin finish. The current rod shapes, that follow the curvature of the staircase, have a satin finish, just like the tubular handrail. The stair treads have a fire-painted steel structure and opal, tempered glass. The whole staircase was produced at the headquarters of Cava De’Tirreni and divided in several pieces. It was then transported to the job site in Rome and installed. Lamberti Design completed the whole installation in two days.
